ObGyn - Hospitalist/Laborist

VeloSource has an OB Hospitalist/Laborist Opportunity - Santa Barbara, CA

Program Details

• 24 Hour Shifts
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
• Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists
• Hospitalists to Backup Midwives
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists (OB/GYN ED Call)

Hospital Details

• NICU Level: III
• Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg): 160
• Total Hospital Deliveries for Hospitalists: (Monthly av): 25
• Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists not including deliveries (monthly av): 30
• MFM on site
• Residency Program & Type: Surgical, Pediatric, IM and Diagnostic Radiology
• In-house Anesthesia

REQUIREMENTS:

• 100-200 Deliveries in last 2 years
• 25-50 GYN visits annually
• No record of discipline by any medical organization
• Board Certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Clinical Interview Not required
