VeloSource EVP John Daniel, Physician Recruiting & Locum Tenens Pioneer, Announces Retirement

VeloSource Executive Vice President John S. Daniel is announcing his retirement. Daniel began his career in physician recruiting over three decades ago, which included co-founding Daniel & Yeager (D&Y) in 1989, co-founding Team Health in 1993, founding member and President of the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO), President of the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR), and other agency executive leadership roles within the healthcare staffing industry.

John leaves behind a remarkable legacy. Throughout his distinguished career, John has been a driving force in advancing healthcare staffing standards and practices. After helping to create the National Association of Locum Tenens Organizations (NALTO), the founding member & Chair served multiple terms on the Board of Directors, spearheading the Ethics Committee and serving as President in 2019. Daniel also served in similar capacities as a member and Chair on the Board of Directors overseeing the Ethics Committee and President of the National Association of Physician Recruiters (NAPR).

John joined St. Louis, MO-based VeloSource in 2022 as Executive Vice President. As in his previous executive roles, his unwavering commitment to excellence and developing talent has been key in driving consistent growth for the locum tenens staffing company. John continues to inspire countless professionals within the healthcare staffing community.
